573(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29A of the Securities
Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956), the Central Government hereby
directs that the powers exercisable by it under sub-section (5) of section 4,
section 7, section 8, section 11, section 12 and section 16 of the said Act
shall also be exercisable by the Securities and Exchange Board of India. F. No.

DATED 13.09.1994 In exercise of
the powers conferred by section 29A of the Securities Contracts (Regulation)
Act, 1956 (42 of 1956), the Central Government hereby directs that the powers
exercisable by it under section 3, sub-sections (1), (2), (3) and (4) of
section 4, section 5, sub-section (2) of section 7A, section 13, sub-section
(2) of section 18, section 22 and sub-section (2) of section 28 of the Act
shall also be exercisable by the Securities and Exchange Board of India. [Notification
